The three cuff sizes cover small pets with leg circumference from 1-3 inches, small to medium pets from 2-4 inches, and large pets from 3.5- to 6 inches.
I bought this to monitor the blood pressure of my Dachshund at home, which is invaluable for his health. However, I can't use it on my Chihuahua because she's too small for even the smallest cuff.
While these monitors are expensive, the value is justified by the peace of mind it provides. I highly recommend it.

You can easily identify your pet because on the front of the machine is three pictures of different pets. You can assign your own pet to one of the pictures everytime you take a reading and it will log it into the machine's memory. It will also produce the time of day and the date you took it so you can have real clarity about your pets heart health. You can also take the machine into your vet for her to analyze if you're dealing with some type of medical condition. The entire machine is extremely easy to use and is highly portable. There are instructions for how to take pets blood pressure and where at on the leg you should place the monitor. It comes with batteries and has a USB plug-in and cord for the machine. It takes four AAA batteries to operate. The machine has a very large font and is back lit which makes it incredibly easy to read. The machine I have and all of its accessories are on the level of professional veterinary equipment. This is an example of an excellent blood pressure monitoring system that would be consistent with a professional veterinary monitoring system. I can even use this on my tiny Yorkies.

The value of this machine is high. The price point is also high.

This blood pressure monitor comes with three cuff sizes, a large backlit display, and printed instructions. I used it with cats and found it fairly easy to operate.

The instructions show placement below the elbow on a front leg, but I had to do some additional research to figure out details such as cuff orientation. The manual also didn't mention that some arthritic cats may tolerate measurements at the base of the tail better than a leg.

The biggest drawback is that it is slow taking minutes for each reading. The manual recommends taking five readings, discarding the highest and lowest, and averaging the rest. Another insert suggested taking three readings. Either way, collecting multiple readings can take a while with a cat. Movement also affects results, and I found that if a cat was resting weight on the limb being measured, the blood pressure could read higher.

I tried it on three cats. My senior cat consistently produced several high or pre-hypertensive readings, while my 6-year-old cat��s readings were consistently normal. The numbers made sense relative to what I would expect from each cat.

I don��t expect this to be as accurate as the equipment used in a veterinary office, but I am very glad to have a way to monitor my senior cat at home. In our case, the readings helped us decide to move forward with bloodwork now rather than waiting for her insurance plan to renew. The results of that testing will help guide some difficult medical decisions for her. For that reason alone, I found this monitor valuable.

As an aside, I used the small cuff on my finger and the results I got were consistent with the results I get on my human arm cuff BP monitor, so that��s interesting.

My main reason for wanting this device is to have another way to keep an eye on my cats�� health at home, particularly my senior cat. Of course, I don��t consider a home blood pressure monitor a replacement for veterinary care or diagnosis, but having the ability to collect readings at home, where my cats are more relaxed, gives me useful information that I can share with their veterinarian if needed.

I have to say, I never thought I'd be getting a blood pressure monitor for my cat, but here we are. I have several cats and my oldest (14) has kidney disease which causes high blood pressure. She's on daily medication but sometimes when we go to the vet, she adjusts the dosage after seeing the blood pressure results. I ordered this device so I can test her at home and catch any changes early. Fortunately she's very mellow and even lets me dress her in cute outfits so putting the cuff on her was no problem.

The machine comes nicely boxed with 3 cuffs: small, medium and large. The small is perfect for a cat and the other two are good for dogs. The instructions are well written and easy to understand. The machine has a button that corresponds with the 3 types of cuffs. Getting a correct reading requires the pet to be calm and still. Once the cuff is placed snugly below the elbow of a front leg, press the corresponding button and the results will be shown on the screen. The numbers are large and easy to read. I love that it keeps 199 readings for each size in the memory.

It runs on four AAA batteries which are included. It also comes with a USBc cord in case you want to plug it in, but the AC wall adapter is not included. Overall, it's a great little device that works very well. I'm hoping that between monitoring my cat's blood pressure, regular vet visits, and her medication, I can keep my cat as healthy as possible and prolong her life.

I like that im able to use it with batteries or just a regular usb-c cord. They included the batteries so I was able to use it immediately out of the box. But the usb-c cord was not included. No biggie becuase we have tons of those laying around the house. seems all devices uses that cord nowadays.

It did take a few tries before my dog became comfortable with the cuff and the whole process, but once she became familiar with it, using it became a breeze. It's quiet and doesnt scare her when it's on. Overall, I��m very pleased with how easy and useful this monitor has been for caring for my older dog.

The specially designed leg cuffs they send you will take a bit of time to learn how to place properly. I would suggest taking the device into your veterinarian's office and having the doctor demonstrate how to use it if you're at all unsure. My vet is always very willing to help me in this manner. The three cuffs it comes with should allow you to take pressures on any of your dogs or cats. I know you can use it on other animals as well. I love knowing that this is just another layer of protection for the health of my much loved dogs.
